Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends
2025 has got off to a roaring start for the lucky pupils of BGI School! I have heard many positive comments from them all about their wonderful new learning environment. Hearing how pleased they are makes everything worthwhile because the happiness of our pupils is the most important part of everything we do.
I have to admit that I don’t really feel that I had a holiday over the Christmas break and if I ever see another table I have to lift up a flight of stairs, it will be too soon. Knowing just how much work the actual move has entailed, I am immensely grateful to all the people who worked so hard over the holiday period to ensure we were ready for the opening day. Thank you to those teachers who came along to set up their classrooms in their freetime, but special thanks to Mrs Diffey, Mr Fay, Mr Leydon, Mr Peters, Mr Logan, Miss De Silva and Mr Sorbo who spent so much of their holiday on site. Also, a special mention to Ana, our wonderful cleaner. Indeed, my thanks to all our cleaners who have the unenviable task of tackling the never-ending mud, which will be a problem for a while yet until the grass grows and the pavements are cleaner.
