Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends
Half-term already seems a long time ago, but I hope our pupils enjoyed their two-week break. Now the countdown to Christmas is on with lots of preparations and rehearsals taking place throughout the school with Choirs, Nativities and Carol Services to look forward to. Then there is the small detail of finalising all the plans for our move, not to mention the normal academic school day. Just to add to the mix, I was asked to immediately go off to inspect another school for the Independent Schools Inspectorate during our first week back. It is always interesting to see other schools in operation and I tend to bring a list of ideas back with me, and this time was no different. It was very apt that I had been away inspecting because last Monday morning I received a call that we were also to be inspected, so everything required was fresh in mind! We had a compliance inspection due to a material change in our operations, with the move to the new site. I am delighted to say that the inspectors were very complimentary of the pupils and thought our new site was absolutely wonderful. Full details of their report will be made available once it is received.
