National Recognition

Bedford Greenacre Independent School has been created by the merger of Rushmoor and St Andrew’s Schools.  Over many years, each school was recognised for their excellent reputations in teaching and learning together with exceptional pastoral support.  We are extremely proud of our histories and as we move forward under a new combined identity we will build on these strong reputations. 

Most recently, Bedford Greenacre Independent School was delighted to be shortlisted in the Independent Schools of the Year Awards, run with Independent School Parent Magazine. We were shortlisted under the Co-ed category for 2025. It was an honour to be shortlisted as this was the very first time the school had taken part in these prestigious awards, which are focused on celebrating the demonstrable benefits of an independent education. This includes showcasing the innovative, caring and life-enhancing student experience which pupils receive.
