On Thursday, I enjoyed a visit to the school field to see our Junior pupils from Reception to Year 4 taking part in a Summer Colour Run – a new idea for Bedford Greenacre! I’m glad to see that we were all given suitable eye protection to wear. It was a great opportunity, and the pupils thoroughly enjoyed it! I don’t think I will be wearing my suit again though! Thank you to Miss Glennon and the Junior School Council for coming up with this fantastic idea and running a successful event and the PTFA for all their help – next time I am wearing my PE kit!

Exam season is nearing the end, indeed the last ever GCSE examination was taken yesterday at our Kimbolton Road site, aptly being history, and every child this year and in the years before, who has ever sat an exam there will remain a part of our School history even though we are moving into a new era.
