I want to start by reminding all our families of the importance of road safety around each of our sites, together with the need to be considerate to our neighbours. We have been advised that at collection time outside the Shakespeare Road site there have been jams caused by inconsiderate parking on double yellow lines at the corners of the crossroad of Cowper, Keats and Chaucer Roads. Last week, there was also an incident where somebody reversed from Keats Close into the crossroad and narrowly missed a young child. Please try to use the one-way system we suggest, going down Byron Crescent (passing the school entrance as you head towards the Sainsbury’s roundabout), following the road round to the mini-roundabout and then coming up Cowper Road. Also, for those who drop off and collect at Kimbolton Road, please remember not to park on the zigzag lines at any time. I thank you for your consideration in this matter.
